FlyingStart General Business Programme at University of Cumbria

The FlyingStart Programme is an invaluable practical and hands-on introduction to getting your business started. Throughout the programme there are several sessions ran to provide you with essential knowledge to launch your enterprise. Networking is an integral part of a business; therefore at the programme we get you networked by introducing you to a personal mentor who will work with you for the next 12 months. Furthermore you will be able to practise the concept of networking with the other participants throughout the duration of the programme. You will also have access to an extended network of individuals who can help you through the business start-up process as well as the potential to be connected to local support organisations.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to attend a FlyingStart Programme you need to meet the following criteria: Either be a UK University final year student or graduate of up to 5 years in the North West You must be considering starting a business in the next 12 months or have Started a business which has been trading for less than 12 months Although you can trade Internationally you must be planning to base the business in the North West of the UK.
